Who is Southwark Women's Forum for?

The Southwark Women's Forum is a women-only support group for those aged 18 or above who have lived experience of mental health problems.

What can I expect from this group?

You can expect a safe, supportive space for women who have experienced or are experiencing difficulty with mental health.

Our aim is to connect the community with local services and events, as well encouraging participants to connect with one another. We like to give members an opportunity for honest, open discussion with women who can share similar experiences and also a chance to feed back their views of mental health services.

Guest speakers sometimes visit the forum to give talks on a variety of relevant and topics. There is also a free vegetarian buffet and refreshments available during the meeting, and the option for a head and shoulder massage with our massage therapist.

When is Southwark Women's Forum held?

The forum meets once a month on the second Friday of every month, from 12pm - 2pm. Below are the meeting dates for 2017:

9th June
14th July
8th September
13th October
10th November

There will be no group on the 11th August and 8th December due to our annual summer day-trip and festive meal, which group members are welcome to join us on.

Where is it held?

We hold the forum at Cambridge House. The address is:

Cambridge House
1 Addington Square
London
SE5 0HF
