Job title: Project Manager (Young Black Men Project)
Location: Based in Brixton
Start date: Available to start in July
Days: 2 days a week
Salary: up to £245 per day

Young Black Men (2 year project) This is fundamentally a social project to promote mental health care amongst young black men. Lambeth and Southwark Mind are looking for an experienced project lead who will be responsible for delivering a new project to engage young black men.


  • The successful applicant will have experience working with Young Black Men
  • Clinical experience and a track record of managing long term projects involving arts and/or sports
  • Existing links with the Lambeth and Southwark local grass roots organisations
  • Experience of co-creation and working in partnership
  • Experienced in Project Management
  • Knowledge of mental health needs of Young Black Men
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent local communities
  • Good networking skills, with the ability to build relationships with service users
  • Good empathetic listening skills
