Who is Open Minds for?

Open Minds is for anyone aged 18 or above experiencing difficulties with mental health and are currently or have previously been in contact with mental health services.

What can I expect from this group?

Open Minds provides a safe and relaxed drop-in space for people with mental health challenges to come together and chat about problems they have encountered and / or issues of interest.

A strong element of Open Minds is the social and supportive nature, based on the experience of the attendees.

When not meeting virtually, as well as space to chat there is the opportunity to take part in various activities to enhance personal well-being – such as arts and crafts and board games.

People are welcome to arrive and leave at any time during each session. Light refreshments are provided.

Attendance is free.

When is Open Minds held?

Open Minds is held for 3 hours every Thursday, from 1pm – 4pm.
