Who is the Hearing Voices Group for?
Hearing Voices group is a drop-in group for anyone who experience voices, visions and other unusual sensory perceptions or alternative realities.
What can I expect from this group?
You can expect friendly, informal chats and support with other people who experience the same issues. We aim to help participants understand their voices in a safe place, and build resilience by finding news ways of coping. Participants have previously discussed topics around looking after yourself and accepting what’s real, as well as just having an enjoyable time.
When is the Voices Group held?
Voices Group is usually held for 1.5h hours every Tuesday, from 1pm – 2.30pm.
Where is it held?
During the COVID19 pandemic, this group meets online using Zoom (www.zoom.com). To take part you will need to make an account for yourself at the Zoom website, download and install Zoom. After you have joined the group the facilitator will email you the details needed by Zoom to log in for a session. Five minutes before each session starts, start Zoom, chose “Join a Meeting”, enter the details we have sent you. Each session uses the same details.
