What is the Information Service?

Confidential telephone and email signposting, to help people make an informed decision when choosing a service. Our dedicated volunteers will listen to your problem and assess your situation, before advising and signposting on to the most suitable service. This service is available to people of all ages, as long as you or the person you are calling on behalf of are living or working in the Southwark or Lambeth borough.

How can I use the Information Service?

Telephone: 0208 159 8355

Email: [email protected]

Opening times: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Alternatively, our online Directory lists over 500 local mental health organisations and services relevant to people in need of help, families, friends, carers and mental health professionals.

More about this service

We recognise that the problems people face vary massively, and so we try and sign-post as accurately as possible. We also give details of one-to-one services and peer support groups available at Lambeth and Southwark Mind.

Just admitting I needed help was hard enough as my partner has been telling me to for months. So thank you for all your help.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate this. I will go to my GP tomorrow and know I have options whatever happens.

The service is run by Joan Kennedy and a team of dedicated volunteers. We welcome volunteers that have experienced or are currently experiencing a mental health issue, so please email Joan if you’d be interested in helping.

This service is funded by Lambeth’s Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and is part of the Lambeth Collaborative
