Overview

National Charity committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of all children and young people aged 0-25 years.

The YoungMinds resources library is full of useful toolkits, publications, reports and policy information about children and young people’s mental health.

YoungMinds does not offer advice to young people but there is a helpline service is for parents or carers worried about a child or young person.

YoungMinds can’t refer you to CAMHS services (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services). To find your local CAMHS servicevisit NHS Choices Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and search for services in your area, or speak to your GP who can refer you.

Includes a parents’ information service and helpline, leaflets, magazine, seminars and consultancy to help young people, parents and professionals to understand when a young person feels troubled and how to find help.  Parents Helpline is 020 8802 5544.

The organisation is involved in campaigning, research and working to influence policy and practice.
