Women’s Therapy Centre


They offer both group and individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy which sets out to understand the underlying causes of a wide range of difficulties.

Why you may be seeking psychotherapy:

• Depression or low self-esteem
• Eating-related problems
• Childhood sexual abuse
• Self-harm
• Difficult relationships
• Bereavements
• Past traumatic events
• Domestic violence
• Rape

Accessing the service

Any woman may refer herself by phone, in writing or by email. Professionals are welcome to contact the Centre on behalf of a patient or client, but the Centre suggests that the woman herself also makes the contact. You can make an appointment via the website on the Psychotherapy page.

Opening times:
Office: Mon - Thurs 9am - 5pm

Minimum fee of £5 per session. Fee per session calculated on income, £1 for every £1,000 income.

Wheelchair accessible, adapted toilets.

Other information:
Registered charity. Therapy may be available in languages other than English - contact to check.
