Women of the Beaumont Society (WOBS)
Overview
Telephone helpline offering information, advice, support and befriending for wives, women partners, family and friends of transgendered and gender dysphoric people (i.e. people concerned about their gender). Volunteers have personal experience of being in relationship with a gender dysphoric person.
All calls are charged at normal landline rates. Answerphones are in place when there is no-one available to take the call. Messages left by mobile phones are not always clear enough to respond to so please use a landline where possible. This also helps us to keep running costs down.
Website includes answers to frequently asked questions, details of publications, links etc.
