Overview
Welcare works with children and families across South London and East Surrey. They help parents and carers use their strengths and skills to nurture happy and confident children. They provide practical help and support to families, empowering them to rebuild their lives and access opportunities to ensure their children have a happy, confident childhood and future. Their values as a charity are built upon their Christian background.
Support includes parenting programmes, family support and services for families affected by domestic violence. They also run holiday play schemes and family outings.
Welcare have a long history of providing support in Lambeth and Southwark. New volunteers for our mentoring scheme are welcome.
