Waterloo Library

Overview

Waterloo Library has recently been refurbished and relocated to The Oasis Centre, opposite Lambeth North Tube, in a building shared with Oasis Hub Coffee Centre.  It is a self-service library, with Lambeth librarians on site every day for up to two hours.  It provides a range of lending services including books CD’s, DVDs and foreign language books.  It has free computer access for internet, email and word processing and free Wi-Fi.     There is also  a reference and information service.
There are specific adaptations and services for  people with disabilities, including large print keyboard,  screen magnifiers and screen readers (Supernova, Lightening Express and Thunder).    Also various formats of large print,  spoken word books.  There is wheelchair access and a disabled toilet.
Books are available under the  ‘Reading well books on prescription scheme’,  which help you manage your wellbeing using self-help reading.
