Waterloo Action Centre

Waterloo Action Centre is a busy centre with lots of  social activities, a day time welfare advice service and a free evening legal advice service.

The advice service offers a confidential advice on welfare benefits, debt, housing and employment issues to residents of Lambeth.   Phone to make an appointment for Wednesday or Friday, 9am – 5pm.   Other languages are spoken in addition to English.

The Waterloo Legal Advice Service provides a free drop-in legal advice every week on a Thursday evening.  It has been running for over 30 years, made possible by the solicitors and lawyers giving their time free of charge.   It is available every Thursday night from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  Doors open at 6:00 pm.  This service is busy, so be prepared to wait.

See the website for more details, including about their  social activities.
