Waterloo Action Centre is a busy centre with lots of social activities, a day time welfare advice service and a free evening legal advice service.
The advice service offers a confidential advice on issues such as welfare benefits, debt, housing and employment issues to any residents of Lambeth and people aged 65 and over. Phone any weekday to make an appointment for either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday 10am – 2pm. Other languages are spoken in addition to English.
The Waterloo Legal Advice Service provides a free drop-in legal advice every Thursday evening. It has been running for over 30 years, made possible by the solicitors and lawyers giving their time free of charge. It is available every Thursday from 6:30pm to 7.30pm. This service is busy, so be prepared to wait.
