The Pocklington Trust

Overview

The Thomas Pocklington Trust are committed to increasing awareness and understanding of the needs of people with sight loss and to developing and implementing services which meet their needs and improves lives. This approach includes their website where they are trying to achieve a high standard of accessibility,  There is information on the website about how to live with sight loss and partial sight.

There is a link to The London Visual Impairment Forum (LVIF) which brings together organisations working with or on behalf of blind and partially sighted people throughout London.

Currently (2017) The Pocklington Trust are exploring what mental health services and support organisations are doing to promote and support better mental health for disabled people.  They are also looking into what barriers there are for disabled people trying to access mental health services and how they can be more accessible.
