Status Employment – Lambeth

Overview

Assisst people with mental health issues in finding and retaining paid employment. Works with people to get into work or move closer to the job market. This can be through education, training, paid work or volunteering. Starts by helping you to identify your current skills, look at your aspirations and help you to gain and retain employment in a supportive work environment.
Also works with the employer to ensure that the job is right for you and to ensure that any necessary adjustments to the job are put in place.
Eligibility Criteria
•You must be interested in moving towards work, education or training
•You must have an understanding of your mental health and be able to manage your medication, or have appropriate services involved if not taking medication
•You must have been stable for a period of time
•You must be linked into CPA or appropriate services and support networks or be receiving treatment from your GP
•You must live in the London Borough of Lambeth.
