Southwark Works

Overview

The Southwark Works Programme has been successfully working with local residents for over 10 years.  The programme provides tailored support that is based on individual client needs. They have built up significant experience of working holistically to support people and improve their quality of life, as well as their employment prospects.

Southwark Works is a network of projects with the sole aim of supporting Southwark’s unemployed residents back in to work.

Families Matter.  Working  with Southwark residents who are looking for full time or part time employment but is a single parent or a troubled family. The advisers will go through the whole job search process with you, support you in any way possible.

The InSpire youth programme provide a range of activities for young people (16-24 yrs) to get involved in – from film production and dance to employment support and volunteering and, their highly skilled youth team are always on hand to provide any additional support, advice and guidance that young people may need.

Empower Project.  Working specifically with Southwark residents who are looking for employment but have a criminal record. The advisers will go through the whole job search process with you, from writing a CV to the first day in a new job, a well as offering specific support and advice about previous convictions in the employment process.
