Southwark Law Centre

Overview

Provides specialist legal advice, casework and representation in Employment, Housing, Asylum/Immigration and Welfare Rights Law, mainly for people who live or work in the London Borough of Southwark.

Does not provide a drop in service or provide general information. Appointments are usually made via other agencies – for example, advice centres, councillors, social workers and community groups.

Information about legal advice also available from:  Southwark Legal Advice Network website www.southwarkadvice.org.uk

They only take on cases where in the Law Centre’s opinion the person cannot afford to pay for legal advice and where no other representation is available from other sources such as a trade union.
