Psychosis Service (SLaM)

Overview

The Psychosis Service provides early intervention services, community services promoting recovery and a range of rehabilitation services as well as two national specialist services.  By running services across the four boroughs they benefit from the ability to benchmark and identify variation and thereby implement large scale transformation.
They claim to have a world class reputation in research, especially in the areas of early intervention, psychological therapies and treatment resistant psychosis.
To find out more about their services visit the service finder or visit the conditions page for more information on specific conditions and the services available for them.

Understanding Psychosis and Schizophrenia
Read the British Psychological Society’s publication Understanding Psychosis and Schizophrenia, which includes contributions by clinicians at the Trust.
Aimed at anyone interested in psychosis and schizophrenia, it looks at why people sometimes hear voices, believe things that others find strange, or appear out of touch with reality, and what can help.
