SHP Tenancy Support Services – Lambeth & Southwark

Overview

SHP (Single Homeless People) aims to prevent homelessness and promote social inclusion.  They run regular advice surgeries in partnership with local treatment services.  At the surgeries you can get advice and support on:  Housing queries, Benefit issues, Council Tax issues, Debt advice, and referral for Tenancy Support if required.
This service is for anyone who is a tenant living in Lambeth Council properties who is:

  • Aged 16 and above
  • At risk of homelessness or having difficulties with their housing or tenancy.

They accept referrals from Lambeth Council housing departments, ie  Income Officers, Housing Officers & Enforcement Officers.  If someone wishes to be referred they will need to contact Lambeth Council as they hold the Referral Form.
