SELDOC

Overview

How do I get healthcare help when my GP is closed?

SELDOC’s out-of-hours service is open when your GP is closed. To access advice or book a consultation, call our specialist call handlers. They will assess your needs and a SELDOC clinician will call you back within 20 minutes to one hour, depending on the seriousness of your condition. Should you require it, our team will book an appointment at one of SELDOC’s base centres for a physical examination, or if necessary, arrange for a home visit.
What to expect
The call handlers will need to ask you some questions so have your information ready when you call. You will need:

  • Your full name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your address (or the address you are staying at)
  • Your telephone number
  • Your registered GP practice (don’t have a registered GP? Find and register with a GP in your area)
  • You will need to be able to provide basic information on your medical problem so that they can assess the best healthcare option for you.

They work from:  Dulwich Community Hospital, Gracefield Gardens (Streatham), Urgent Care Centre – Guy’s Hospital & Urgent care Centre – University Hospital Lewisham.
