As part of the Lambeth Independent Living & Carers Partnership, the Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD) have announced their Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service will remain in Lambeth after a successful funding extension..
They can also help with – Understanding correspondence, Completion of Forms & Applications, Signposting, Referral to other services, and Booking Interpreters.
All the advice workers are either Deaf themselves or fluent in British Sign Language (BSL). They provide advice in BSL or other preferred visual communication such as Sign Supported English (SSE), or Deafblind manual/hands on.
