Rights of Women

Overview

We are a women’s charity working in a number of ways to help women through the law.  Our vital services aim to provide women with the legal advice and information they need to understand and use the law and their legal rights. We also work to improve the law for women and increase women’s access to justice.

Free legal advice telephone helpline staffed by women lawyers for women. Issues covered include domestic violence and abuse, harassment, divorce, relationship breakdown, living together, children, civil partnerships, lesbian parenting, rape, sexual assault, child sex offences, trafficking, asylum and immigration law, criminal injuries compensation.

Our legal guides and handbooks provide vital legal information to help women through the law.  A lot of information can be accessed on the website.
