Overview
Positive Parenting and Children is the UK’s longest-running charity supporting children and families living with HIV and AIDS.
Since 1987 PPC has worked with hundreds of families, providing practical support to parents and children in their own homes and in their local communities.
Qualified social workers and family support workers from Positive Parenting and Children work with families to address problems that can adversely affect their health and to encourage and facilitate openness about HIV within the family.
Positive Parenting and Children take referrals from agencies and directly from families living with HIV. After an initial assessment with one of their Practice Managers they are able to offer tailored services in the family’s own home and in their local community.
