Pembroke House, Walworth

Overview

Pembroke House is a multi-use community space in Walworth and it is linked with the Church of England parish of St Christopher’s.

The Lunch Club  This  is open to anyone over 50 living in Walworth an takes place on Thursdays from 12:30 to 2pm. No need to book. Cost is just £3.00 for each session – ich includes tea and biscuits, dinner and drinks.
Community Garden  This is a pocket of space in the heart of Walworth for people to get together, experiment with growing and sharing food, and have creative fun along the way…  The container garden is located within the grounds of the community centre Pembroke House.  They meet on Fridays from 2 – 4pm.  Free.
The Garden welcomes new people all year around, so if you are interested in getting involved please get in touch by contacting  communitygarden@pembrokehouse.org.uk or phoning.
There are a variety of other activities including a Sewing Club on Thursdays, Ballet for adults on Saturdays and ESOL English classes on Saturdays.  For further information see the website or phone.
