Netmums
Overview
Netmums is a large parenting network with information about all aspects of parenting such as where to find support locally, playgroups, help with post-natal depression, supporting children with special needs, etc. It is primarily a website service.
The Netmums mission is to:
• Help families have fun with and enjoy their children
• Bring people together to make our local communities more lively and friendly
• Make it unnecessary for any mum to feel lonely or isolated
• Make sure every parent has access to all of the local support and advice available – from other mums and from professionals
• Give mums a voice, locally and nationally, on issues of importance to them.
Forum: With community at the heart of everything they do, Netmums is the place where three out of four UK mums meet for a chat, local listings, product reviews, recipes, the latest parenting news and info, plus trusted support and advice.
Netmums’ Parent Supporters: In order to ensure every mum has access to support and advice when needed, Netmums offers a free Parent Supporters service to those most in need. Read more about this on the website.
