Overview

METRO is a leading equality & diversity charity, providing health, community & youth services across London & the South East & national & international projects. METRO promotes health, well-being, equality & participation through youth services, mental health & well-being services, sexual & reproductive health & HIV services and community participation & involvement.

METRO Youth provides free and confidential services to LGBTQ  young people (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and those questioning their sexuality or gender) in South East London.

  • Zest is a free and confidential youth group for young people under 16, who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Trans, including those who are not sure or are questioning their sexuality or gender (LGBTQ). Zest meets on Fridays in Greenwich from 4.30 to 6.30 pm and is for young people in Greenwich, Lewisham, Bexley and Bromley.
  • Metro Shine is a weekly group that meets every Tuesday 6.30-8.30 pm for young people in Greenwich & Bexley. Shine offers a great space to chill out, socialise and meet new people, have fun and take part in a number of great activities and workshops chosen by its group members.
