London Irish LGBT Network

Overview

The London Irish LGBT Network provides a safe, inclusive, knowledgeable and social space for all Irish LGBT people in London. The Network offers an opportunity to meet like-minded people. In short, they are a unique organisation in London, celebrating, representing and campaigning on behalf of Irish LGBT culture and linking them to the wider Irish community in the capital and throughout the United Kingdom.

 

Who are they?

Founded in 2014, the Network is a not-for-profit organisation that connects, gives a voice to and campaigns on behalf of Irish LGBT people living in London. They run regular events and activities to reflect the interests, backgrounds and needs of the Irish LGBT diaspora helping to create those connections which foster cultural pride and togetherness. They are about inclusion and strength, vitality and visibility.

 

What are the Network’s aims?

  • To raise support for and awareness of the Irish LGBT community in London.
  • To campaign and help develop a broader, more inclusive Irish diaspora.
  • To organise events and activities for Irish LGBT people.
