Latin American Disabled People’s Project

Overview

They help to improve the quality of life of disabled Spanish and Portuguese-speaking people living in London. They also work with carers, families and communities to improve the quality of their lives, break isolation and support community integration.  This includes support for people with mental health problems.

Services include a Wellbeing and Mental Health Project.  They have set aside two days a week relating to health support and offer 1 to 1 Mental Health and Well-being Support.

Monday            10am -1pm | 2pm – 4pm
Wednesday      10am -1pm | 2pm – 4pm
Friday               10am -1pm | 2pm – 4pm

They also provide advice, advocacy,  information, and representation on welfare, disability benefits, housing and health services. In addition, they provide  IT and English classes, workshops, language coaching, interpreting, citizenship processes, children and family activities, befriending services, user development services, social and cultural events and volunteering opportunities.
