Humankind (formerly Blenheim)
Overview
Humankind creates services and supports to meet people’s complex health and social needs, helping them to build healthier lives that have meaning and value for themselves and their families.
In April 2019, Humankind merged with London-based charity Blenheim CDP and in April 2020, EDP joined us as a subsidiary to form a new organisation with national reach, focused on addressing health and social inequalities across the country.
In Lambeth they offer two services:
1. The Harbour
This service has been developed to provide an open and welcoming space for those in recovery from substance misuse problems and for their families, friends and wider community. The Harbour provides an opportunity for those in recovery to develop new social networks, gain advice and support to access mainstream services, e.g. college, volunteering, leisure and other positive meaningful activities.
