Community Forensic Mental Health Team (Lambeth)
Lambeth Forensic Community Team is part of Lambeth community mental health team (CMHT), based at Landor House in Lambeth Hospital. They provide community-based assessment, treatment and care for people, aged 18-65, who have a history of offending, and who have mental health problems. They care for people who have a permanent address in the London Borough of Lambeth.
Forensic community teams provide mental health treatment and care for people who have a history of offending and who pose a low risk to the public. These teams of health and social care professionals include psychiatrists, community psychiatric nurses, social workers and occupational therapists. They work closely with the police, the public protection unit and the local Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangement (MAPPA) team to support people in the community.
