Home Treatment for Older Adults (Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark)


Home Treatment (Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham) care for people aged 65 and over with severe mental illness who would benefit from assessment and treatment at home as an alternative to the hospital.

Their aim is to provide short-term treatment for people who are having a mental health crisis. Wherever possible they avoid the need for the hospital admission.

Their service brings together different health care professionals, including nursing, occupational therapy and psychiatry. They work closely with patients, carers and professionals involved in their care.
