Galop – LGBT Anti-violence charity

Overview

Galop is the LGBT anti-violence charity, making life safe, just and fair for LGBT people.
Galop gives advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse.  Galop also supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.

 

Children and young people:

Galop also provides free, confidential and independent support for LGBT+ young people aged 13 to 25.

Referral:

You can refer yourself to their services or refer someone to them if you are a professional working with someone who might need our help.

Helpline:

The helplines are open to anyone LGBT+ in the UK, as well as friends, family members, and professionals who may be concerned about an LGBT+ person facing abuse.

Online community:

Join the Domestic Abuse Survivors Forum to share your story and support other LGBT+ survivors of domestic abuse, from anywhere in the UK.
