Forensic Intensive Psychological Treatment Service (FIPTS)
Overview
Assessment, treatment and management of people with personality disorders who are identified as presenting a high risk of causing serious harm to others, includes community team, community residential service and 15 bed medium secure unit. Aims to reduce and manage risk in the least restrictive environment possible, reduce personality pathology and associated suffering and distress, increase pro-social and adaptive behaviours in the areas of relationships, employment, education and community integration and promote independence and improved quality of life.
