Entelechy Arts
Overview
Entelechy Arts is a participatory arts company based in southeast London. Entelechy works with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to produce high-quality theatre, music, dance and video events and performances.
The company is skilled in creating work which brings together people who wouldn’t usually meet.
Working with their collaborative partners, the Albany, Entelechy has created a unique creative arts club for isolated older people:
- Meet Me at the Albany is a dynamic multi-stranded arts programme responding to the increasing needs and demands of isolated older people in our communities. Working closely with adult social care and cultural teams from Lewisham Council, Entelechy and the Albany have established a weekly, year-round programme supporting the development of emerging older artists creating new contexts for the co-creation of work by established artists and older people.
