Drug Rehabilitation Requirement Service (Lambeth)

Overview

The Drug Rehabilitation Requirement Service (Lambeth) is part of the Addictions Division. They provide specialist assessment, treatment and care for people, aged over 18, who are referred through the courts on a DRR Order.

A DRR service provides offenders with fast access to drug treatment programmes where their criminal behaviour is associated with drug misuse. The aim of a DDR is to reduce drug-related offending.  This service is for people who live in the London Borough of Lambeth.

The treatment programme includes rehabilitation, counselling and prescribing alternatives to drugs. They also provide advice and support on housing, relationships, employment and education. They work with other teams in health and social care to help people maintain their health and their independence.
