Overview

Solace Women’s Aid exists to bring to an end the harm done through domestic and sexual violence to all survivors and in particular women and children. Their work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.
They run a wide range of services to meet the different needs of service users, including :

  • Counselling
  • Family & Children’s Support
  • Legal Services
  • Refuges for emergency accommodation
  • Sexual Violence Services (rape crisis)
  • Irish & Irish Traveller Service
  • The Ascent Project (delivers frontline services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence for women and girls).
