Disability Advice Service Lambeth

Overview

The Disability Advice Service Lambeth (DASL) is a Disabled People’s Organisation that works with disabled people, including those with mental health support needs, older people and carers, mainly in the London Borough of Lambeth.

DASL has a specialist Advice Service for people with mental health support needs. They also try to assist other disabled adults and young disabled people under 18 but they are a small service and cannot always take on new cases.  The service is provided by the Advice Service Manager, Emma Davila, and a small team of trained volunteers.

The service can help with advice casework on welfare benefits and other issues such as debt, housing, community care, accessible transport services (such as Freedom Passes, Blue Badges and Taxicards) and Emergency Support Scheme and charitable grant applications.
