Their mission: use the arts to break down many of the prejudices associated with people with mental health problems and promote access and participation.
Provide an environment in which their members are able to express themselves and their ideas and know they will be heard and respected.
Use Social Enterprises and Social Firms to offer new opportunities for individuals to become economically independent.
Aims to promote artistic and creative abilities mainly for people in Hackney who experience mental health problems. They welcome new referrals from all London Boroughs and have membership spaces for persons using personal budgets.
Offers training programmes and workshops in music, painting, drawing, poetry, gardening. Also offers women’s group sessions and various temporary projects.
Offers a volunteer programme which includes support and access to training.
Free access for members to fully equipped music rehearsal and recording studios, art studios and computer areas with internet access, complemented by weekly creative workshops, personal development and work experience. Graphic design, landscaping enterprise and more through their associated social businesses.
