Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) for Older Adults – Lambeth


The Community Mental Health Team for Older Adults (Lambeth) provides community-based assessment, treatment and care for people aged 65 and over are living in the community and have a mental health difficulty and younger people with a formal diagnosis of dementia.

The Community Mental Health Team for Older Adults are a team of psychiatrists, psychological therapists, mental health nurses, social workers and occupational therapists who specialise in older adult mental health care. The team help people to maintain their health and to live independently as possible in their community.

They provide help and support for people with a range of mental health problems which may affect their day-to-day life including: depression, anxiety, dementia and memory loss, and psychosis.
