Overview

The Community Mental Health Team for Older Adults (Lambeth) provides community-based assessment, treatment and care for people aged 65 and over who are living in the community and have mental health difficulties and younger people with a formal diagnosis of dementia.

The Community Mental Health Team for Older Adults is a team of psychiatrists, psychological therapists, mental health nurses, social workers and occupational therapists who specialise in older adult mental health care. The team help people to maintain their health and to live independently as possible in their community.

They provide help and support for people with a range of mental health problems that may affect their day-to-day life including depression, anxiety, dementia and memory loss, and psychosis.
Referral by GP or Social Services.
