Children and Young People’s Register and Liberty Card

Overview

The Children and Young People’s Register and Liberty Card is a voluntary register of the children and young people aged 0-18 years with a disability who live in the borough of Lambeth.  The Liberty card will allow the card-holder to receive discounted admissions, queue jumps etc to venues locally and across the UK;  it is acknowledged and supported by a number of local and national organisations, companies and facilities.  It is hoped that with regular use within the community the Liberty card will soon become a regular feature in Lambeth and will be recognised by many, helping children and young people to access community activities easier.  it will also provide proof of the child’s disability, where it is not obvious, thus removing the need for lengthy explanations.

You can register your child if he/she is 18 or under, has a disability and lives in Lambeth.  Registration is entirely voluntary but is recommended.  You can register by downloading and completing the Lambeth Liberty Card application form, or requesting one by letter, e-mail or phone.  Letters should be addressed to Mrs Tracy Imms, Children & Young People’s Disability Register Co-ordinator.
