Brook Southwark

Overview

Brook is the UK’s leading provider of sexual health services and advice for young people under 25.  The charity works with young people to provide free and confidential sexual health information, good sex, relationships, contraception, pregnancy testing, advice and counselling, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.  Also outreach and education work.

All services are free. All sessions are walk-in (no appointment needed). You may be able to pick up condoms, pregnancy tests or Chlamydia screening kits without needing to see a nurse – please ask staff for more details about Brook’s ‘self managed’ services. When Brook is closed please contact Ask Brook www.askbrook.org.uk, or if you require urgent medical advice please contact NHS 111, 24 hours a day.

Free services include:  contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, screening for sexually transmitted infections, counselling and referral for the termination of a pregnancy.
