Brockwell Park – Therapeutic Gardening

Overview

Brockwell Park Community Garden is a large community garden in the middle of Brockwell Park between the tennis courts and the walled garden.

On Fridays people with mental health issues are invited to join in with the gardening activities. They grow fruit and vegetables and have a greenhouse.  A friend or relative can accompany you. They have lunch at 1.30pm so you can take a packed lunch or there is a café in Brockwell Hall which is also in the park.  They also serve tea and biscuits at about 3.30pm.

The gardener Cat is a qualified psychotherapist.

They also offer a vast range of workshops at a low price. To learn more about their workshops and other events please click here.

Additionally, they are also looking for volunteers to help run their garden and assist with school and families visits. If you are interested in becoming a BPCG Volunteer apply using this form.
