Blue Light Infoline
Overview
The Blue Light Infoline offers confidential, independent and practical support, advice and signposting around mental health and wellbeing. The Infoline is just for emergency service staff, volunteers and their families, to help keep you or those you care about well for work.
The Blue Light Infoline works in the same way as our existing Infoline and Legal Advice Line and has the same service standards. You can find out more about what you can expect from all of our Infolines when you contact them by clicking on the link below.
Our team provides information on a range of topics including:
- staying mentally healthy for work
- types of mental health problem
- how and where to get help
- medication and alternative treatments
- advocacy
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- existing emergency service support
- mental health and the law.
We will look for details of help and support in your own area or that is relevant to your emergency service. Unfortunately, our advisors are unable to offer an emotional listening service or counselling through the Infoline.
Who the service is for: Emergency service staff, volunteers and their families.
How to access: Call or email our Blue Light Infoline. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. You can also contact us at any time by email for a response from one of our dedicated advisors during the Infoline working hours.
