Overview
BlindAid has over 180 years of experience of delivering emotional and practical support to blind and visually impaired people living in the 12 inner London Boroughs and the City of London.
Their core service is Home Visiting; they also provide Community Projects where people can attend free classes that include: I.T. (beginners and intermediate level), Cooking & Healthy Eating, Yoga, Art & Craft and Creative Writing. They offer grants to visually impaired Londoners on low incomes for essential items to help maintain vital independence. They also run fortnightly Coffee Events in Tower Hamlets and Southwark.
Their outreach team is dedicated to working alongside our Service Users offering friendly company and conversation as well as information and links to other useful organisations. They aim to improve quality of life and to promote independence.
All the services are provided free of charge for Service Users.

Directions:
To reach us from London Bridge Station, leave the station by taking the exit onto St Thomas Street. Turn left and go down St Thomas Street until you reach the junction with Bermondsey Street. Turn right into Bermondsey Street and you will find our office about 150 yards down on the right hand side.
