Blackfriars Settlement Legal Advice Clinic
Overview
This organisation has partnered with a local law firm to provide free legal advice for two areas of law:
- Employment
- Housing
Advice is given every Wednesday evening from 18:30 – 20:30 by appointment only.
The clinic is supported by student volunteers from City Law School. A volunteer will phone you on the Monday before your appointment to find out about your problem. They will pass this information to the solicitors who will conduct any necessary research before they meet you on a Wednesday.
This is a one-off legal advice service. The advisers are however not able to represent your case.

Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30. On Wednesdays the Legal clinic is open 18:30 to 20:00, but access to the public computers is only until 18:30.
