Barnardo’s believes in children regardless of their circumstances, gender, race disability or behaviour. Their purpose as a charity today is to transform the lives of the UK’s most vulnerable children.
Works with over 200,000 children, young people and families. Over 900 vital services across the UK, including counselling for children who have been abused, fostering and adoption services, vocational training and disability inclusion groups. Also, projects providing youth training, daycare in deprived areas, special education for children with disabilities, support for young carers, adoption and fostering, and schemes for those affected by HIV/AIDS, homelessness and child sexual abuse.
