Archbishops Park Gardening Club

Overview

A friendly gardening group in Archbishop’s Park (near Lambeth Palace) has been improving the physical and mental health of Lambeth and Southwark residents since 2010.

Members meet on a Friday and work with the gardeners to help maintain the park as a natural haven for the people of London. There are some beautifully planted beds along with a nature area and pond (full of newts), an orchard, beehives and a pop-up allotment site. The group is open to volunteers who want to reap the benefits of being outdoors and connecting with nature, whilst contributing to this public space in a friendly sociable group

You will gain new skills working under the supervision of a trained horticulturalists.
At present they are looking for new volunteers.  Phone or email if you are interested.
