Corporate organisations understand the importance of their social responsibility to support their communities and the association of working with a charity has proven to increase and enhance customer loyalty. A partnership with Lambeth and Southwark Mind demonstrates that your organisation is committed to supporting the wellbeing of the local community and can only be a bonus for your brand and your reputation.
The demand for mental health services is increasing and we need to provide more services in the boroughs to support more local people. Some of your employees will have experienced or will experience a mental health problem and by supporting us, you are in turn supporting your workforce, their families, and their friends. If you would like more information then please contact Jaimal Patel, Fundraising and Community Engagement Manager, at [email protected].
Charity of the Year
If you want to make a difference, then choose Lambeth and Southwark Mind as your charity of the year! Not only will it have positive benefits, but it will also with enhanced public and employee relations. Committing to one charity for a whole year will enable your organisation to build a relationship, raise awareness as well as raising funds with various events or initiatives throughout the year. Your organisation will also be supported by the fundraising team who will be able to motivate your staff, assist you with planning events and provide you with the tools, materials and guidance to make the biggest impact.
The 2021 Challenge
Any business, large or small, can take part in our 2021 challenge. This initiative is where you pledge to raise £2,021 for one year. If Lambeth and Southwark Mind could get just ten companies to take on the challenge, that would be £20,210 raised for our local mental health services. Using this funding we would be able to create more support groups and more phone support for all those suffering from mental health issues and loneliness.
Mental Health Training
Lambeth and Southwark Mind can provide Mental Health Training in the shape of a one-day workshop. Good wellbeing in the workplace is key to creating a happy, healthy and productive workforce. Our wide range of mental health training helps organisations improve the wellbeing of their people, raise awareness around mental health issues in the workplace.

It is a great way for you to entertain your staff and customers and raise money for a great cause at the same time. Gift in kind
Gifts in kind are donations of things like professional services, products (for example, bottles of water at an event, or meeting/conference room facilities), discounted services and second-hand items. Maybe there is a way your company could assist in a non-financial way to support the charity so that we can save money and spend it where it’s most needed. Have a chat with our fundraising team on 07526043928 to see how you could help in this way.
Enter a staff team into one of our challenges
We have places in the Royal Parks Half marathon, London Marathon and other events you can sign up to. You take part as a team and build some great memories together. Not only is this great for your health but you will raise vital funds for the community.
Visit our event page for more information.
How can you inspire your employees to fundraise? By saying you’ll match their fundraising! Matching funds raised by your staff shows you are supporting what they are doing and helping them to raise as much money as possible for Lambeth and Southwark Mind.
Encourage your employees to volunteer for our charity. They could help us with fundraising, bucket collections, bag-packing at supermarkets and event promotion. Visit our volunteer page here.
Making a financial donation would be gratefully received and gives Lambeth and Southwark Mind an opportunity to design and implement services away from our contractual work to meet the changing needs of our local community and the growing demand for mental health services.
The yearly cost of our services is around £550,000 and whilst some of this is raised through grants and contracts, fundraising is increasingly a challenge and we rely on corporate donations and community fundraising to keep our services going.
