If you want to support Lambeth and Southwark Mind but fundraising isn’t for you, then becoming a member is a great option. You’ll pay an annual membership fee (£5 for unwaged people; £10 for waged people), which helps towards our aim of ensuring that anyone in Lambeth and Southwark experiencing a mental health problem has access to the right advice and support.
As a Lambeth and Southwark Mind member, you’ll receive:
Our members care about the availability and quality of mental health services in their community, and those who benefit from using them.
If you do too, we’d love for you to get involved- all you need to do is click the link below and fill out an application form.
When we speak about our experiences with mental health, it both helps others to see that they’re not alone and supports the fight against stigma around mental health. We’ll keep you up-to-date with latest news in our quarterly newsletter, and if you’d like to get your voice heard we’ll support you to do so.
Members are invited to the annual AGM where you can have a direct say in choosing the people who steer what we do by voting for our trustees. And, if you’re passionate about our vision and mission, you could become a trustee yourself.
Our members take part in fundraising events, activities with our peer support groups and development of new exciting projects – all in which bring people in our local community together and tackle prejudices about mental health. We’ll tell you what’s happening in our regular members’ e-news.
