Our Information service provides confidential telephone and email support to help people make an informed decision when choosing a mental health service. We are able to direct individuals of all ages, as long as they are living in the Southwark or Lambeth borough.

Just admitting I needed help was hard enough as my partner has been telling me to for months. So thank you for all your help.

We recognise that the problems people face vary massively, and so we try and sign-post as accurately as possible. We also give details of one-to-one services and peer support groups available at Lambeth and Southwark Mind.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate this. I will go to my GP tomorrow and know I have options whatever happens.

The service is run by Joan Kennedy and a team of dedicated volunteers. We welcome volunteers that have experienced or are currently experiencing a mental health issue, so please email Joan if you'd be interested in helping.

This service is funded by Lambeth's Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and is part of the Lambeth Collaborative

How can I use the Information Service?

You can use this service by calling us for free on 020 7501 9203 and select option 1 - please note we are only open from Monday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm. You can also email us.

Alternatively, you can have a look through our online Directory where you'll find a list of local mental health organisations and services relevant to service users, families, carers and friends. If you are a health or mental health professional then you may also find the directory useful.
